At Omnifi, we do love a good challenge and being able to push our creative thresholds, especially if it means we can bring exciting design and innovation to the table. That’s why we’ve teamed up with leading cocktail bar specialist Be At One to completely redevelop their website and native mobile apps on iOS and Android devices to connect more earnestly with their customers.
The culture at Be At One is bold and confident, so we wanted to reflect these values on both platforms. Be At One were working through a complete creative redevelopment, which gave us great scope to overhaul their key digital touch points giving guests a smooth UX throughout the remarkably interactive, easily navigable website and apps, whilst obviously driving footfall into the bars.
The app on iOS and Android has everything you would expect and more: Be At One is celebrated for their abundance in cocktails, so we thought it was perfect to introduce new innovative features to showcase their leading presence in the industry across native apps and web.
‘Drinkr’ is a Tinder-inspired game, available on the app as well as on the website, which identifies your ideal cocktail from Be At One’s bountiful drinks list. For example, users are asked to agree or disagree with questions such as “was 90s was the best music?”, ‘’do you love coffee?”, or “do you prefer something dry?”, and so on. Once they’ve found their perfect match, guests are rewarded with a £5 cocktail voucher. We also made several improvements on the already industry-leading Appi Hour feature, with more to come in the next month or so.
As you’d expect, we feature a complete catalogue of cocktails and ingredients with the chance for customers to tailor their perfect cocktail. Whether it’s the spirit, particular flavour, size or style of their drink they want to adjust, users can use the mobile app to simply select which filters they want to apply, and shake their mobile devices to reset these filters.
We integrated Be At One’s reservation service with leading bookings engine Design My Night, designed to drive footfall, with added information about the bartending teams in each bar to add in the over-the-top personality of the brand.
Both the app and website also incorporate Google Maps, with the app featuring a neat ‘Get Me There’ link with directions from Citymapper. Users can easily switch from map mode that shows the locations of each bar, back to the full detailed list of Be At One bars with details on opening and happy hours, relevant contact numbers and reservations.
