We're going to The Store Conference in Athens!

We are pleased to announce that our very own Head of Strategy and Innovation, Simon Liss, will be jetting off to Athens in May for The Store Conference event!

Τhe Store is the largest conference in Greece for brick-and-mortar and connected retail experiences.

Τhe Store holds a full day conference plus a half-day with 4 expert sessions, providing a great opportunity to inform, train and connect executives from across the multi-channel retail spectrum.

On day one Simon will be delivering a keynote entitled:

‘Merged Retail – how digital is transforming the physical store’

In the presentation he will explain that we are living in a post-PC world, where mobile and ubiquitous computing present new digital disruption challenges and opportunities. Simon will argue that the future of retail is one where online and offline channels are not separate but merged. He will ask what this means for commerce and our traditional notions of the ‘store’ and well as looking at what is being achieved now and what does a truly merged retail future look like?

On day two, Simon will run a workshop entitled:

Digital opportunities across the store customer’s journey

The workshop will ask ‘What challenges do you face as a multi-channel retail business? How are customer behaviours changing in the era of mobile and eCommerce? How can digital technology and services improve customer journeys and experiences before, during and after the in-store experience?’.

Participants will then creatively explore the opportunities that a connected retail journey offers to improve customer and business outcomes, coming up ideas together and critically assessing digital solutions through a hands-on creative workshop.

Over the two days Simon will be joined by a number of other international retail experts who are hosting a range of other seminars and workshops, including Understanding and Influencing How Shoppers Navigate Your Store and Masterclass: Using Visual Merchandising to Sell.

Other local retail experts from Greece will be present to share knowledge, expert analyses, discussions on the state of retail in a world of digital and technology, and practical solutions to developing the physical store.
