Omnifi win London Tech Week Startup Tech 10

A view of central london

Omnifi are pleased to announce that we’re winners of Tech Startup 10, part of Interop 2015, the flagship event of this year’s London Tech Week.

Our entry to the competition is based on a new WiFi based product scanning tool that we developed for retail clients. The scanner technology is stand-alone, but works very well on our intelligent WiFi portal. You can see a demo here:

Part of our prize is a stand at the Interop event, where we will be demonstrating a hybrid set-up based on our portal, an off-line content hot-spot and the scanning module itself. Sounds complicated? Actually, it’s a super-simple answer to a perennial retail challenge – how to connect physical product in a store to online content, without using an app.

Seeing is really believing, so why not come down and see us at stand IOP74, we’re giving away sweets to anyone that logs onto our portal and scans the barcode.  Interop is free to attend and held at London’s Excel and runs from 18th-20th June.
